Was it just us, or did Denise Koch let Ehrlich hog the mic all night?

He came off as a petulant, mean spirited, very small man.

1. I totally agree.
Ehrlich set the tone from the beginning by referring to O'Malley as "Guv," and it went downhill from there.

It appeared to me that Uni-brow Bob brought with him the same snarky attitude he has groomed while a radio talk-show host, which only served to make O'Malley appear all the more professional by comparison.

Speaking of which, I thought Marty did an excellent job. He was calm, specific, positive, and not at all rattled by Ehrlich's sniping.

I thought it amusing that Ehrlich accused O'Malley of going negative in the campaign ads, when in fact O'Malley has show incredible restraint, considering the vast supply of corruption, incompetence, and dirty tricks from the past Ehrlich administration that he could be using, i.e.:

-- Bob having to fire his chief of staff for spreading false rumors about O'Malley having an affair;
-- Another staffer taking Abramoff funds;
-- Attempting to sell state-owned woodlands in St. Mary's County to a developer who contributed to Bob's campaign;
-- Using his state troopers to spy on liberal-leaning groups in the name of Homeland Defense;
-- Hiring homeless people to distribute campaign material in strong Dem neighborhoods, only giving the wrong date for election day
-- Introducing Michael Steele to the world of politics;
-- Promoting the policy of introducing Asian oysters into the Chesapeake Bay (a terrible idea -- just look at the Franken-fish and dozens other environmental catastrophes caused by introducing non-native species)
-- Bob's earlier support for drilling for oil in the Chesapeake (he's been quiet about that since the Gulf spill)

And I could go on and on.

It was plain rude. O'Malley almost called him ex-Governor in the beginning but didn't so Whiners calling O'Malley guv looked even more petty.

Does Ehrlich have a toupee or just a really bad hair dresser. (It was even more distracting than the guv bullshit.)

Now Bob wants to start this casino crap. Hey not O'Malley's fault you couldn't deliver to your buyers in your first term Bobby. Project much?
