Heh. I just realized John Kimble is running for Senate
This is the three time loser to Albert Wynn as a congressional candidate. The last time he actually hired Wynn's ex-wife as campaign chair in an effort to embarrass Wynn and win black women votes (He had the ex-wife saying Wynn dumped her for a white woman. This was his reasoning, "People tell me if I don't get down and roll in the mud, I'll never get elected."

There is also this gem:

Kimble, who in 1996 offered to pose nude for a million dollars, complained that the district's large majority Black vote made it "unwinnable for a White candidate."

Too bad he won't beat Steele for the nomination. It would be really fun to run against this guy.

1. steele apparently disses the president
While monitoring the conservative press, I came upon this interesting report. Talk show commentator Rush Limbaugh reported today that a Republican Candidate for the United States Senate had stated that he would not want President Bush to campaign for him. He was requesting that his statement remain "off the record". However, Limbaugh stated that the White House had tracked the comment to Maryland Republican candidate and LT. Governor, Michael Steele. My question is this: Do we really want someone with this mentality to represent us in the United States Senate? And this: What does he bring to the table that can benefit the State of Maryland nationally?

2. Countdown had the Steele con-game
on it tonight. (My word for it not theirs.) Seems he met with DC press, bought them lunch and stuck it to Bush on the condition that his name not be used. They didn't. Then when the stories are published his staff leaks that it was him. Story there is he didn't only say bad things about Bush and they mis reported. He has let Bush come fund raise for him and claims "Many people ask me how any African American can support President Bush. Short answer: He has done significantly more for African Americans than his challenger, Sen. John Kerry, ever did or has promised to do." http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6290818/ Sorry but I'm not buying his brand new song about Bush. He is hoping we have short memories and will buy his lies. I'm not buying it.
