The public hearing for the marriage equality bill is tomorrow (WED)

The hearing on Sen. Damon's bill, LD 1020, which would provide legal protections for same-sex couples in Maine, is scheduled for April 22.

This is our single biggest opportunity to show public support for the marriage bill. We need you, your family and your friends to join us!

The public hearing has been moved to Wednesday, April 22 at the Augusta Civic Center to accommodate the turnout for the hearing. The hearing will begin at 9 a.m.

Plan to arrive early!! Doors open at 8 a.m. but lines should begin forming around 7 a.m.!!

Supporters will be wearing RED to make ourselves more visible .

This will be a family-friendly event and there will be activities and spaces for children.
