the mighty colorado river

An article written by "DAN MCFADDEN" titled ;
COLORADO RIVER A STRAINED LIFE LINE
I think it might make the average "mainer" realize that once again our leaders are giving away our assets to cheap.
Water is a natural resource that could lift this states finiancial burden;much like
alaskans reap a benifit from oil.
and water is selling for roughly $1.51 a liter and the majority of the profit is leaving the state.
And another mis-information floating around is how hard it is to operate a business in maine because of taxes. well we are 25th in the nation for taxes on business!
BELIEVE ME THIS IS MILLIONS LEAVING THE STATE WITHOUT FAIR COMPENSATION TO THE PEOPLE OF THIS STATE.

1. CHRISTIAN SCIENCE MONITOR ARTICLE

Just found a vote posted by cs monitor ran 79.6% for taxing water and 20.4% not to tax. yet the water companies still get a free ride.
WHERE IS OUR LEGISLATORS,ASLEEP AT THE SWITCH AGAIN.
