New Orleans Rally for a Balanced Judiciary
New Orleans Rally for a Balanced Judiciary
Federal District Court
Wednesday, 27 Apr 2005, 5:00 PM

Rally to oppose efforts to eliminate the relaxation of the filibuster rule.

Message from host: By using the filibuster rule, Senators from both parties are empowered to force a centrist federal judiciary. This political balance is under threat. To protect civil liberties, we must rally to prevent the relaxation of the filibuster rule, and the fullfillment of political promises to nominate and confirm judges of a particular viewpoint.

Address:
500 Camp Street
New Orleans, LA 70130
Directions: Poydras and Camp street. The rally will be held behind the New Orleans federal court house, between Camp and Magazine and across the street from Lafayette Park.
