Clooney for Congress Update

Dear Friend,

I just wanted to write today to tell you about all the good things that are happening in the campaign.

As we quickly approach the summer months of campaigning, we are encouraged by the amount of support we have received from all of our supporters. Because of the support that many of you showed last quarter – we had the largest fundraising quarter in the history of the 4th District! Since are website went live on March 19th we have received over 20,000 hits. It is amazing to see our support grow every single day over the internet. Also, check out the campaign calendar and see where our travels take us. We will be moving into a new campaign headquarters on May 1st. Once we get settled in we will have a grand opening party and you are invited! I will send out a notice as the date quickly approaches.

There is still much work to be done in the coming months in order to reach a victory on November 2nd. We realize the extraordinary effort that it will take to communicate our positive message and shared Kentucky values of common sense, independence, fairness and honesty to the voters of this District. That is why I am, once again, asking for your help as we prepare for a long summer of active campaigning across the District.

My likely fall opponent has already raised over $1 million and he will have every resource available for the negative campaign he has already promised. In fact, he and his supporters have already begun doing this. They will stop at nothing to win this seat. Our campaign must be in a position to refute the attacks that are coming.
