Calling all Kentucky Democrats to Elizabethtown

Just got off the phone with local Democratic Headquarters. D. Dan will be in Elizabethtown tomorrow for a rally at Freeman Lake Park. Supposedly, CNN and MSNBC is sending a team with him. Starts about 2:00 in the Williams Pavilion - free food, good company, strong kick to the finish.

2. Sure - fairly easy to find.

If you come down I-65, get off at Etown exit 91 and following signs for Fort Knox. This will put you on the E'town By-Pass. Stay on this road until it dead ends at US31W (Dixie Hwy). Bear right onto 31W and then immediately get in left lane and turn left onto road leading into park. You will be turning right beside a bottling company (used to be Coca Cola - not sure now what it is) and a strip mall. This road leads straight back to the lake and park. Follow the signs - to be held at Williams Pavilion.

If you are coming down 31W from Louisville: Just stay on 31W past Fort Knox, continuing on past the mall heading toward Etown. You will cross over Ring road and continue down to the intersection of 31W and E'town By-Pass. Straight thru light and immediately turn left onto road into park.

7. I didn't get to go either.

Granddaughter played in regional soccer tournament today here in Etown. Had to go and cheer her on. Can't wait to talk to someone at the Headquarters on Monday.

Hopefully Dr. Dan has picked up some money - have seen several ads today on the local TV stations. Really classy stuff, very upbeat and positive - direct opposite of what venom Bunning has been spewing.

8. I saw a DNC ad today attacking Bunning...

It was the one with the video clip of Bunning saying, "I don't read the newspapers. I don't watch the news."

Loved it!
