Fire Senator McMoney...lte Herald Leader
Fire Sen. "McMoney'

Does anyone believe the ”gas tax“ ads Sen. Mitch ”McMoney“ McConnell is running against Bruce Lunsford?

I can understand why McConnell doesn't want to take any responsibility for what's happened in this country for the last seven-plus years. President Bush has driven us into a ditch while McConnell aided and abetted from the back seat. It's not exactly a record to be proud of.

Fortunately for McConnell, his corporate masters have been very generous to him over the years, allowing him to hire the best spinmeisters money can buy. But the reality for working people keeps smacking us in the face so hard that the spin offered by McConnell just doesn't have the same effect it used to.

Frankly, I'm sick and tired of the monied interests setting the policies for our country through their paid hacks in Congress. It's time we put a stop to this nonsense, and firing McConnell is a good place to start.

1. I'll second that! However, there must be an awful lot of Kentuckians
who can't see the nose on their faces, so to speak, because despite being a scumbag of monumental proportions, McConnell still is leading comfortably.

2. What the hell is Lunsford doing anyway? Is this guy really trying to win this?
He let McConnell run way too many ads before responding. Not sure where he's getting his advice, but I'd bet he's got alot of "yes men" surrounding him. Pity, too, because McConnell is vulnerable this year.
