Pictures from the Lawrence vigil
I arrived just after 5:00

and this is what I saw.

As people got off work the group swelled to at least 100 people. I just forgot to take pictures when I joined my friends across the street.

2. All across America
We all showed up on short notice. One thing that I have noticed is the change of attitude towards us. In the early days we'd get flipped off or called names. Not anymore. The others are finally understanding what we've been trying to tell them. I just hope it is not too late. I know it's already too late for over 3,018 American families and for over 50,000 Iraqi families.

4. Good point
but I also think there are other factors. I think it's been a slow erosion of faith in the infallibility of Bush and his cronies. People really relied on the Corporate Media during the aftermath of Katrina and we all know that was a huge turning point. It helped highlight the deficiencies the rest of us saw in this administration.
