I am so disgusted by this I want to DO something about it. Yes, I will write a letter but I want to do more.

I will take this idea to my peace group this afternoon as well.

In the meantime, this needs to be DUed. So please, write letters and emails to both the monsignor at the church and the archbishop.

This kind of crap is happening way too often all over the US, not just here. I guess this one really gets to me because this church is in my neighborhood. I went to St. Ann's, not far from St. Agnes. My son went to Miege, which is right behind St. Agnes. My uncle is a priest and was a pastor in this diocese. And I had no idea we had any problem with homophobic Catholics in Johnson County. We need to let them know their intolerance will not stand in this community!!

Please be sure to read the linked article from The Star. This was an organized hate campaign. Hate literature and pictures were placed on the windshields of parishioner's cars! (Which gives me another idea for activism :evilgrin:)
