HUGE Peace Rally on Sun, March 19 in KC
Please come join us for the 3rd anniversary of the start of this useless war that has taken 2300+ of our soldiers and over 100,000 Iraqis. We will be at our usual Sunday spot - Nichols Fountain just east of The Plaza. We want at least 2300+ people there to represent all of our dead soldiers.

The rally starts at 3:00. I am extending a personal invitation to DUers to come and then join us for drinks or whatever afterwards.

If you need more info or don't know where to park (there are plenty of nearby hidden spots) please PM me. If you need a ride, PM me. PLEASE COME!! It will be the most important thing you can do on that Sunday. You are needed in large numbers! Spread the word!!!

See you on the 19th!!

:yourock:

:hi:

8. Oh wow you are from Cottonwood Falls!!
I went to school in Emporia. I LOVE Cottonwood Falls. I have a good friend in Marion and I drive thru Cottonwood Falls a lot when I go down to visit her. It is so pretty there!

We used to love to go over to Cottonwood Falls to see the windmill man's latest additions. Do you know who he was?

Oh I hope you do come next Sunday! PM me and I will send you my cell number so we can hook up.

Thanks for replying :hi:

http://www.kansascity.com/mld/kansascity/14139652.htm

Protesters gathered Sunday in Mill Creek Park in Kansas City for a rally that marked the Iraq war’s third anniversary. The demonstration was one of several held around the world. Organizers with the KC Iraq Task Force said about 50 organizations, most from churches, participated in the event. As part of the protest, names of U.S. military personnel who have died in the war were read.
