Iowa is Beautiful...

My journey through your state on my latest cross country trip left me amazed. I had always assumed that Iowa was flat and boring. I found neither to be true. It is hilly and well manicured. The people I encountered were all very friendly. Iowa City is a very picturesque place.
I will always have fond memories of my trip through your state and hope to visit again someday.

6. You picked a great place in Iowa City to stop!

With my son in the hospital so much in his younger years, Iowa City and it's people REALLY made me feel relaxed and welcome (I could walk the ped mall off of Old Capitol after my son fell asleep and let go of reality for a while - I could also blow a month's income at the Soap Opera & in Sweets-N-Treats in Old Capitol Mall!!)
