That is interesting....

Blouin is also expected to begin attacking Culver's work more than 15 years ago for Des Moines lobbyist Ed Campbell, who represented IBP.
In 1989 and 1990, Culver worked as Campbell's assistant and was registered as a lobbyist at the Iowa Capitol for IBP, as well as for other clients of Campbell's, including Polk County, the Iowa Trial Lawyers Association and Des Moines University.
"People have to be accountable for their records, and what they did early in their careers is informative," Blouin campaign manager Matt Paul said. "Secretary Culver will have to explain the two years he spent in the employ of his client as a lobbyist."

Does anyone here remember the 1998 primary between Vilsack and McCormick? Vilsack (and the UAW) brought up how McCormick's law firm had represented IBP in worker's comp. cases. - hit him hard that he was all about corporate big business and not about the 'working man'. Now Blouin, who will take NO responsibility for his beliefs that women are not intelligent enough to make their own reproductive health care decisions (and won't take responsibility for HIS voting record on that subject) and won't take responsibility for screwing the 'working man' in giving away OUR tax dollars to corporations ALREADY IN IOWA by waiving wage requirements for Iowa Values Fund money (let's set aside his 'anti-worker' attitude regarding the minimum wage and PLAs) - is attacking Culver for being anti-worker? Between that and his new Lt. Gov. pick who has no problem supporting the Iowa republican party or republican candidates who run against DEMOCRATS - this is identical to the Vilsack '98 game plan. I will now sit and wait for the whisper campaign to begin. :eyes:
