I think tickets are free. I will find out and post more info. I am strongly considering making the trip from central Iowa to hear Zinn speak.

2. Noam Chomsky
I would LOVE to hear him speak. Any idea on how to get tickets, where it will be held, etc?

"Blowback" and "Sorrows of Empire" are two of my very favorites.

3. Great news for you: a free event! Here's the ISU Lectures' Webpage
http://www.lectures.iastate.edu/schedule.php

and the link to the Chomsky lecture:

Sun Room, ISU Memorial Union, Ames

I'd just suggest going early to get a good seat. I'm betting he'll get a huge crowd. And if the normal format is followed there is a reception/booksigning afterwards.

I may come down from Minnesota to see this one.

Oh, and I'd suggest bookmarking the lectures page and checking back occasionally. Their schedule changes as people are added through the year. I just noticed Chomsky last week as having been added.

4. Lol, Lord I am a nerd.
Ok...well those of you that ARE Noam Chomsky fans probably caught this, but "Blowback" and "Sorrows of Empire" are actually by Chalmers Johnson...who for some unknown reason I am always getting confused with Noam Chomsky.

I know, Im a dork.

Either way, Noam Chomsky would be an interesting speaker!
