To get more people involved. Bad move. Your feelings?

1. Aren't we watching games about then? Enjoying brewskis
and doritos? Hey, another dumb idea from the politicians. We'll stay home.

2. Exactly, right, Hardrada.
Remember the Nevada caucuses? Not first in the nation, I know. But they had to compete with The NFL playoffs amongst other things. A lot less media exposure. Plus, a selfish reason. I work Saturdays. I liked them at night.

3. As with most meetings, there is no "best" time.
some people work weekends, some work nights, some have a TV show they can't miss.
The way they jacked around with the caucus time last round, I would just like to see them pick a time and stick with it.

5. Since Mr. Cairycat works evenings,
he could go to a Saturday afternoon caucus. I guess I'd prefer an evening but since I feel like the caucuses are my chance to actually have a say, I will go regardless. Whether someone who is not as politically involved would be more likely to show up on a Saturday afternoon than a weekday evening remains to be seen. Why not give it a try?

But I agree with Rurallib: Pick a damn time and stick with it!

6. I couldn't get to the caucus last year
Because I work second shift I wasn't able to attend the caucus. Which was disappointing because I wanted to attend. Saturday would probably be a better time with my schedule at the least, but it might not work for other people. I think our current system could be improved to account for those who don't have the time to attend a caucus.

7. Could be the last time we're first in the nation, so enjoy the privelege.
But, THEY say that every four years, don't THEY?
