Ken Runde accepted nomination as U.S. Marshal
Dubuque County Sheriff Ken Runde will probably be stepping down from his posting this summer. That's because the President has nominated him to be the United States Marshal for the Northern District of Iowa, and he has accepted the offer.

The right wingers who infest the KCRG boards are none too happy about it though.
