This could be very big, as the State Senate is deadlocked at 25/25 and the State House is at 51 R's and 49 D's. This Urbandale district is competitive in Polk County (Des Moines suburb). Getting busted selling your influence for your "character curriculum" charity is just too much. Typical Repuke values.

It was a great story in the Des Moines Register this morning. They tried not to hit too hard, but it is clear from reading the story that it is dead wrong to take a huge charitable contribution ($625,000) to the non-profit that you run and then push through legistation that gives the contributor everything they have wanted for 10 years (full casino gambling for Prairie Meadows). This is going to hurt!
