Is everyone hearing the Bush SocSec propaganda today?

I'm in central Iowa, and I've been listening to Jan Mickelson.

Mickelson's show today is in full force, marketeering the idea that Social Security is in need of reform.

I just heard one of his guests call Social Security "corrupt", "a Ponzi scheme" and "a scam." Jan's show has featured 3 guests so far (JC Watts was one) who have been positioning Social Security as a broken, failed system. They're also discussing instances where people ripped off the system and reported fake disabilities--as if these are common occurrences.

There's a whole lot of fear mongering, demonizing and exaggerating going on. They're really laying it on thick today.

It's amazing to see the Republican propaganda machine operating in your own backyard.

I hope other Iowans are able to make it to the president's speech at Kirkwood. Unfortunately, I am unable to make the trip.

Are others in Iowa hearing the propaganda too?

3. Dear God, my heart felt prayer today is that you would save us all from

these shameless BUSHES whose pride in their POWERS due to the dollars they have exacted from innocent victims due to wars throughout the generations and most recently in Iraq through false representations is shameless...as it is shameless how they are misrepresenting our social insurance known as social security so that they can enrich their coffers and those of their greedy and covetous supporters even more.

I pray that you save us and rescue us from their envy of the abilities of good democrats like the Clintons and the Gores and the Kerrys which led to their ultimate power steal: the stealing of the presidency of the United States in the year 2000 and in the year 20004.

Dear God, I pray that you save us and rescue us from the Bushes lack of Cardinal Virtues, especially from their lack of courage to tell the truth, and from their brand of justice based on whims and mis-interpretations and mis-representations of the laws rather than the true spirit of the laws, which would allow, among other things for clean elections, and for the people's abilities and rights to dissent from the murderous and dictatorial policies.

Dear God, I hope that you save us and rescue us from the Bushes lack of Theological virtues because even though they tout their LOVE for mankind and their FAITH in You ... their actions so clearly CONTRADICT THEIR WORDS... showing the world, as they do, that they love their money, their own inner circle which supports their crimes, and they only have faith in the bubble of steel in which they hide the bush boy.

Dear God, save us all from the Bushes who despite lip service to their own piety, their works against the seven corporal works of Mercy (feeding the hungry, giving drink to the thirsty, shelter to strangers, clothes to the naked, visiting the sick, ministering to prisoners, and burying the dead) seems to be factually absent from anything they do.

Dear God, please save us from the lying scumbags that those bushes are.
