Indianapolis folks, what's the deal with 93.9?
I saw a billboard for it this morning, figured it would be nice to have some talk radio, and what do I get? Mancow talking to a woman who is claiming that she is going to have her daughter's arms and legs amputated because she is severely retarded! Then, at lunch, they come up with a 'Christian financial advisor'! This guy actually advised someone to go get 2-3 more jobs because his income wasn't enough!

WHAT IS THIS SHIT?!? How does anyone take this station seriously? Is it just a parody of talk radio? It sure sounds like one.

1. Best to just stick to NPR
95.1 FM in Terre Haute, AM 580 out of Champaign, which you can get down to Terre Haute during the daytime.

2. I wish I could pick up 95.1
I lose it literally at the river on the way out of town. I have no idea why. I do listen to 580AM though. This week I'm in Indy for training, so I thought I'd see what talk radio options there were. Yuck on 93.9.

3. Ahhhh
I manage to hold onto it most days in the morning until I reach work - maybe I just have a stronger antenna or something, who knows.

Anyway, from what I can remember of Indy radio, I'd just stick with NPR there as well, or ESPN radio.

4. 88.7 - the public affiliate from U-Indpls ...
... plays some pretty decent blues/jazz and classical along with the NPR news streams.
Otherwise, straight ole' NPR is ... 91.3 <I think?>

6. Woops, WFYI (NPR) is 90.1 ...
91.3 is Carmel High School's radio station, which has a small radius.

Their talk is totally stupid (to be expected), they broadcast HS sports (which is cool), and they play some pretty decent alt/indie stuff.

7. I thought that was the christian station
till I did a search for news about the station switching formats. I couldn't see Mancow on a christian station I guess, I still won't be listening to it.
