The Indiana Defense and Homeland Security Working Group
is meeting in my building.

Anybody know anything about what they do? I cannot find online who its members are. I can only find this - (Google cache) - from the Office of Energy and Defense Development site at IN.gov.

OED continues to be a pivot point for economic development efforts, fostering business relationships within Indiana’s defense contractor community.
These initiatives include:
Providing consulting services to Indiana companies wanting to do business with the Federal Government, along with other helpful Business-to-Business assistance.
Overseeing the Indiana Defense and Homeland Security Working Group, which pulls together Homeland Security, state Universities, Indiana defense assets such as the Indiana National Guard, NSA Crane and other key Economic Development entities to coordinate various statewide efforts

Does anybody have further insight into their mission and how the state universities are involved?

1. Will they consider "what to do" abouat the Jefferson Proving Grounds
and the deadly waste left in part of the hoosier lands, Or are they pretending that just doesn't exist while planning future "proving grounds" and toxicity for hoosiers?

2. The latter, I imagine.
As far as I can tell, their main goal is to get more defense contractor $$ for the state. At best, they're writing the stories about planes that are going to bomb Iran while running on Indiana-grown biofuel... at worst, yep, probably more Hoosier acres littered with unexploded munitions and depleted uranium.
