Real-estate agent, client found naked in Naperville home
Source: Trib Local

The son of a property owner whose Naperville home is on the market found a real-estate agent was showing more than the master bathroom to his client.

Police said a 46-year-old real estate salesman from Morris and his client, a 25-year-old Chicago man, were found naked just before noon Thursday in the master bathroom in a house on the 4400 block of White Ash Lane in Naperville.

The property owner’s son was “alarmed and disturbed,” Naperville Police Sgt. Gregg Bell said, prompting him to call police.

Bell said the pair was cited with a non-traffic related ticket for disorderly conduct, and released.

1. Probably wouldn't have been a problem had the "client"
made an offer on that house, although I strongly suspect the client was actually the 46 year old agent, not his 25 year old partner.

Then again, I only got 3 hours' sleep last night and that makes me sour and suspicious.

I don't know if I'd have called the cops. I would, however, find another agent.

2. As long as the real estate agent had a legal reason to be in the house. . .
. . .I don't understand the charge.

4. Would you allow your maid to screw somebody in your bed?
Or the exterminator?

Just allowing someone in your house does not let do whatever they want in your house.

if you want a successful closing!

8. You don't understand the charge?
You hire a real estate agent to sell your home, and he uses the home he is supposed to be trying to sell as a brothel, and you don't understand the charge??

11. Brothel?
More like a 'quickie' between two consenting adults, who just got a little carried away.

I guess you misunderstood both the news item and the charges.

16. The place could be inhabited, either full time or when the owner comes into town. And
the agent has only permission to enter the place to show it, not as a party pad

19. There might have been an executed contract but
I doubt that it had anything to do with real estate. The age difference and inappropriate location was suspicious.

It was only sex but I would prefer that other people not do it in my bedroom.

7. I think the injured party here are the taxpayers.
Cops should have cited the home owner for wasting their time.

Silly and immature to call the cops over such a thing. Home owner should have just fired the real agent, if he was so offended--or maybe try to have a sense of humor? or at least a sense of compassion for human weakness? --and forgive the real estate agent and get him to promise not to do it again?

My view is premised on the facts as stated in the OP.

9. This is only news because they're gay.
Everybody's gotta freak out at gay nakedness, after all. As if this sort of thing doesn't happen between straight people all the time. When I managed customer service for an airline, we'd get calls all the time for passengers caught having sex in the lavatories - and it is something we ignored.

10. They're gay in Naperville, which is fundy Central.
If they'd been praying in the Master Bathroom it would have been ok.

Plenty of Naperville voted for Obama, as did a lot of DuPage County.

..she was reporting on and didn't disclose it..

BTW Naperville is 100% fundy central...full of holier-than-thou rich-b*tch hypocrites...

Edited on Wed Oct-20-10 11:13 PM by barb162
when they were supposed to be there on BUSINESS, I'd have called the police too. That real estate agent should lose his license for egregious behavior. Let 'em go to some motel room, not a client's house without the client's permission.

17. I think I would have let them off with a warning and a lot of
yelling and swearing. That's usually my style. But if they did it again, I would find a new agent. Still, why embarrass everyone by calling the cops?
