passing petitions for Suzanne Elder- carol ronen's seat

carol ronen has breast cancer, and decided not to run again (the 7th senatorial district.). unfortunately, she did so with mere days until the nov. 5 deadline. i got an email from my local dfa. i am going to try to put some time in on this, although i don't have a lot.

Suzanne Elder, the grassroots candidate who has stepped up to run for Carol Ronen's state senate seat. Suzanne is a long-time friend of Bob Bartell and Maria Manolas, I met Suzanne on Saturday and she is smart, well spoken, and her heart is in the right place. I think she is a great potential candidate, but obviously she has an uphill battle to get on the ballot. If you can help Suzanne collect signatures, that would be incredibly helpful. I believe you are in her district or close to it, so you don't have to travel far to get them. Suzanne is planning to drive her signatures down to Springfield next Sunday, so we have until then to help her.

1. Carol Ronen correction

I am Treasurer of Northside DFA.  We sent out the email that
"mopinko" refers to about Carol Ronen.

I want to make it clear that our email said nothing about
Carol Ronen having breast cancer.  It is just an
unsubstantiated rumor to which Northside DFA does not
subscribe.
