50-State Canvass in Metro East & for Dan Stover

Hi All,

I've recently started working with a fairly-new grassroots group called the Downstate Democrats for Change(DD4C). They're planning to do the 50-State Canvass in Highland, Edwardsville and Collinsville. They will also be distributing literature for Dan Stover, who is running for US Congress against Shimkus. 1. I should add they're just hanging, not doorknocking.

I'm not sure what everyone else is doing. I thought I read that the DNC is expecting doorknocking. But, I realized after I posted this thread that the people I've talked to say they aren't doing that. Of course there are pros and cons to both styles. But, this one will be an easier one for people who feel that doorknocking is too intrusive. And more homes will be hit in a shorter time, which means, it could be over before the originally scheduled time of 5 if there are enough people there.
