How's the economy ?

1. In Georgia? Loosing manufacturing jobs, 3 military bases closing,

lack of school funding... Perdue has run the state into the ground.

3. Don't forget the problems with Delta and the Ford plant.

My son is a mech. for Delta, and he said there's supposed to be an announcement in mid Jan. and nobody is going to like it. The other day Ford announced that they would downsize or close 9 plants, and one of them is Hapeville!

Coppule those with the base closings, and imagine what the Ga. economy is going to be like in a couple of months from now!

2. What economy?

My rent is going up $50 a month, that I don't have, utilities are up, gas is up, and credit card minimums are about to double. I have tried to get a second job, flipping burgers, I was told with a Masters Degree I am over qualified. I truly believe that 2006 will be the year that breaks me.

4. I lost my job....

...of 23 years there when my company was sold this year......they were kind enough to give me a year's severance and I was able to move to the UK with hubs..........loving every minute of being out of Atlanta traffic and corruption too.
