Action: Keep Cumberland Island wild

Please see my post at http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=115x17751 for information about pending legislation that threatens the wilderness areas on our coastal jewel, Cumberland Island. To quote the Georgia Sierra Club, "U.S. House (HR 4887) and the Senate (S. 1462) would take portions of the island out of protective status to benefit private and commercial interests, setting a terrible precedent for wilderness everywhere and for our National Park system." Please contact your elected representatives to let them know you oppose this legislation!
