Everyone in florida should vote - even if you have not picked a party, you can still vote on the admendment

1. I was wondering about the ammendment
I'm still trying to figure out how I'm gonna vote on that. The more I read about it, the more it doesn't make any sense. We are only going to save roughly $200 each. That's 2 weeks of gas for me! What about the other 50 weeks??

2. admendment - saves you money ONLY if your government doesn't
raise your taxes - it nullifies your lock in cap of how much they can raise taxes a year - that is the catch that will NOT help the "normal" people - this admendment helps people who want to move and take their credits BUT it will not stop the government from making up the difference they need by raising taxes.

Rich people will benefit and people who move around a lot

A yes vote is a vote against yourself -

3. actually, it's not supposed to affect the cap but
i just don't trust our repug legislature to look out for our interests and i don't trust all those who are actively pushing this amendment . . . including the c of c, which is notoriously anti-consumer.

i will also vote 'no'. i cannot afford to hire my own police and fire departments.

4. I'm going to do the actual vote thing on Tuesday
NO on Amendment 1 and though I love, love, love Dennis, THINK I may chose Edwards in the primary. Could change my mind, though.

6. VOTE NO !!!
This isn't the tax reduction that it is advertised as - it is an amendment which once everyone figures out what a stupid idea it is, it will be very, very difficult to reverse.
This is a typical Republican solution - a tax cut will solve eveything. Meanwhile, the real problem is left untreated. Tax reform is not a bad thing for the R.E. market in FL, but this hastily written band-aid of an idea will not solve the problem - it will only add to more problems.
This amendment is heavily sponsored by the R.E. industry - the same 6%ers who benefitted mightily by catering to the speculators during the ill-fated recent boom. These cretins will benefit the most from the devastation to the majority of FL resident services.
VOTE NO!!! This will not be any value to the vast majority of FL homeowners.
