Robert Wexler was on Jim Defede's show this morning.
When asked about impeachment he said that the people dont want them to impeach but to just do the business of washington.

I cannot email him because he is not my congressman and he does not accept outside email.

I think he is dead wrong.
I think people are angry because this is supposed to be a country of laws. Allowing powerful people to break the law and get away with it destroys the integrity of our democracy.

If someone is in Wexlers district please clue him in on reality.

1. Wexler could be getting a primary challenge next year
Broward Big draws bead on Wexler

By George Bennett

Palm Beach Post Staff Writer

Monday, January 15, 2007

You have to figure something's percolating when a longtime Broward County politician ventures into Palm Beach County's Democratic condo belt to hold forth on foreign policy.

The politician in question is former Broward County Commissioner Ben Graber and, indeed, he's considering a challenge of reputedly unbeatable U.S. Rep. Robert Wexler in a Democratic congressional primary next year.

Graber lost a Democratic state Senate primary last year to Wexler-backed Jeremy Ring. Now Graber is remaining in circulation in Wexler's Palm Beach-Broward congressional district and making it known he's available to speak to clubs and other organizations. On Tuesday, Graber has a gig at a Kings Point Democratic club confab west of Delray Beach. After a career in state and local politics, Graber will speak to Kings Pointers on a topic of congressional heft: Iran, Iraq, Israel and U.S. policy.

Graber was an eight-year state representative in 1996 when he ran against Wexler and Peter Weinstein in a Dem primary for an open congressional seat. When Wexler and Weinstein went to a runoff, third-place finisher Graber endorsed Wexler. Asked how he feels about Wexler now, Graber said he's "a little disappointed in the guy" for working against him in last year's Senate primary. But Graber said his interest in Congress isn't grudge-fueled.

2. Wexler won't lose
He won without nary a challenge in 2006.

I disagree with him on the issue of impeachment, but he is wildly popular in the condo dominated areas of South Florida.
