Is anyone in FL asking about undervote-overvote protection?
Greg Palast has reported that some Florida counties that use optical scan machines turned off the undervote-overvote protection (e.g. Gadsden) while others had it on (e.g. Citrus), I was wondering if any Floridians are following up on this to find out what directives are in place (if any) to make sure this feature is uniformly implemented, preferable to be turned on.
Has anyone asked all the county election supervisors? Will poll watchers be allowed to confirm the settings before voting begins? What exactly is being done?
the optiscan machines spit out overvoted ballots and they can be recast, undervoting is a choice. There have been some races where I didn't vote for anyone.
