I'm getting excited for November. We're taking aim at the Chair of the RPOF, John Thrasher!
Not only is a Republican going to primary the Chair of the RPOF, John Thrasher, but a TV anchor personality named Deborah Gianoulis is going to run as a Dem against him. As chair of the RPOF he will have to oversee the elections, but he is going to be busy in the primary and general election seasons! This is GREAT news. This tells me the FDP has been working to get a candidate on the ticket in nearly every district (if not all)!! This is what Howard Dean did!

I'm so excited. We can win! We can do this!!! We've got the Republicans on the run!!!

Remember to spread the word. Talk to neighbors, talk to family, talk to friends. We've got to take this state back!

We've got around 12% unemployment (thanks, Republicans). We've got an oil spill right off our coast thanks to the friends of the oil industry - the Republican Party and Dean Cannon. We've got thousands of pissed off teachers who the Republicans are scapegoating for any and all of our education issues. We've got an RPOF with a huge credit card scandal which will drag into the Fall.

Not only that, but we've got some GREAT amendments which will help the Dems in the short run and the entire state in the long run. Vote YES on 5 and 6 to end Republican gerrymandering. Vote no on 7 which nullifies 5 and 6 (thanks to Cannonopolos!).

It just hit me how excited I am for the Florida Democratic Party. We might be in our best position in over a decade!

2. After today's polls, I'm actually quite concerned about the
gubernatorial race. Bud Chiles may cost us big time! He says he is for education and children's issues but if McCollum or Scott are elected it's all over for Florida's schools. They will be the final nail in the coffin. Our kids' programs will be gutted like never before. He needs to unite WITH Sink, not against Sink. Maybe he can become a Dem and be her Lieutenant Gov???
