How much help does the FDP get from the national party?

If we could turn FL a deeper shade of purple by taking just one chamber or the governor's mansion it would have huge implications on a national level. Our state party is so inept that we could use help from Dr. Dean and others to turn our Florida Democratic Party around. Does no one see this? If Dems get Florida, CA, and NY it would be HUGE. That would leave the Reps with only TX in presidential elections. A strong state party could also help elect more Congressional representatives to the US House.

1. It would help if Karen Thurman quit crossing the line and helping the Pukes for one thing.

She needs to be replaced. She is very bad for the Dems down here.

2. Vets

The good thing is that the Democratic Veterans Caucus of Florida is finally finding some traction after a new member came in and stirred things up. They've got a website and are passing out some great literature now. I think they are going to be a force in Florida's future! Their new site even has its own social network build into it, which seeing as how large the state is - what a great way to push their cause. www.fldemvets.org
