National Democrats are bullish on Florida
LESLEY CLARK
The Miami Herald

Buoyed by Republican retirements, U.S. House Democrats are optimistic about expanding their majority - perhaps by picking up at least one Republican-held seat in Florida.

Rep. Chris Van Hollen, the chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, said the party is looking to thwart history: generally a party that rides a victory wave into the House loses seats in the next election.

But he noted the party has "lots of opportunities" in Florida, listing Suzanne Kosmas, who is challenging Rep. Tom Feeney, R-Oviedo, and Christine Jennings, who is running for a Sarasota congressional seat for the second time, after narrowly losing to Rep. Vern Buchanan.

"(She) won the election last time, but is running again," Van Hollen said, referring to the race that wasn't settled until months after the election when a congressional investigation found faulty voting machines hadn't contributed to more than 18,000 votes that went missing.

1. Voter Fraud in Florida
I suspect that there is a lot of voter fraud in Florida.
We have a lot of rich Republicans who have homes up north, and homes in florida.
They vote with an absentee ballot up north, then come down to Florida for the winter and vote in Florida in November.
I think it would be worthwhile for the Democrats to check Florida's voting records against those of other states such as New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey.
