How are the other races in CT looking. I lived in CT for 20 years before moving down to Maryland this summer.

Sadly, I'll be stuck with Shays as my CongressASS unless we get heavy voter turnout today!

3. in second district

There was a person from Georgia that my husband said got sent in from Georgia by the RNC. One of those meet and greet types holding a sign at the 75 foot mark. I was just really surprised as I would have thought that the Republican town committee would have enough people to go to the different polling places in town.

Makes me realize too how concerned the RNC must be about this district.

4. Shays going down would be nice

I voted for Farrell (oh yeah, and that guy Kerry too) in Fairfield this morning. Shays is popular here because he is very moderate for a Republican -- in fact I would probably put him to the left of our Senator, Joe Lieberman. It would be nice to get Farrell in and narrow the D/R gap in the House, but Shays is likely to win again. At least he voted against all the anti-gay crap that recently was floated in the House.
