Kevin Lembo Needs Our Help
Kevin is a progressive and a gay person who is a candidate for CT State Comptroller.

He is extremely well qualified for the office of Comptroller.

For six years he worked as Assistant State Comptroller with current State Comptroller Nancy Wyman, on issues such as implementing Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), maintaining and increasing the Rainy Day Fund, and health insurance as it relates to state employees, retirees, municipalities, non-profits and small businesses. Currently he serves as State Healthcare Advocate, where he fights for patients and their families when health insurance companies deny their claims or treatment. He has helped put nearly $20 million back in patients’ pockets. He is nationally recognized for expertise in health care systems and consumer protection and was recently invited to testify before Congress on insurance company abuses. He lives in Guilford with his spouse of 23 years, Charles Frey; they have three children.

Kevin is trying to raise enough money to qualify for public campaign financing here in CT. His primary opponent (Jarjura) has qualified and has been endorsed by some very conservative entities (he is anti-choice and a board member of the ultra-right wing Family Institute)

Kevin is a progressive candidate that believes serving the people of Connecticut is the true focus of working in State government.

Even if you are not a CT resident, please consider making a contribution to Kevin's campaign since some out of state contributions are allowed.
