Develop your leadership skills and impact positive local change!


PUBLIC ALLIES CONNECTICUT is actively seeking diverse young leaders between the ages of 18 and 30 who are:

· Committed to improving the community;

· Willing to take initiative and be challenged;

· Interested in working with a diverse group of people; and

· Passionate about affecting social change.


Public Allies advances diverse young leaders to strengthen communities, nonprofits and civic participation.

Public Allies offers 10-month professional apprenticeships in community organizations, leadership training, and team service involvement. Allies serve four days a week at a local nonprofit organization on projects that have a direct and measurable impact. Allies will receive a stipend of $16,500, an AmeriCorps educational award totaling $4,725 and gain valuable professional experience.
