David Sirota on AM760
I don't know about you all, but I absolutely love listening to him in the AM and I consider us very fortunate to have his informed and intelligent voice on Colorado airwaves. As you know, David and his wife now live in Colorado.

Then there's the afternoon guy - Mario Solis Marich, who lives in California.

Oh yes he does!!! They will lie to you at Clear Channel if you call the on-air line and they will swear he's sitting in the CO studio - He is no more sitting in CO, than I am in sitting in Japan. He records his show from California and plays catch up (not very well IMO) on Colorado politics. Ever notice how he doesn't engage with callers much? He let's them voice their opinion, then off they go...without much comment from the host.

Then there's his habit of repeating himself constantly - it's called killing time and having nothing else to say. When in doubt repeat, repeat, repeat, agree with the caller(s) and remind the audience every 2 minutes, they are listening to "The One and Only MSM Show".

I flip to KCFR at 4PM rather than listen to an uniformed host who pretends to be local.

What I would like to see....after Jay Marvin returns to work....David Sirota to move to afternoon drive.

If you too would like to see David Sirota a permanent fixture on KKZN - please write to the station and address it to the Program Director. http://www.am760.net/pages/contactus.html

1. I agree about Sirota, he's so sharp
Having a local guy aware of local politics on radio is great. I like how he starts the program with relating local news followed by national.

He was on CNN last Sunday discussing the issues with a Republican and you can't help but be proud of his ability to call bs and also lay out liberal ideas.

2. Agree About Sirota AND Marich
I've been kinda burned out on political talk radio since the election, but Sirota is intelligent, informed and willing to take on mindless 'party before country' Democrats (makes for engaging radio).

AM760 needs to find him a permanent time slot and promote the hell out of him -- he's a talk show host winner.

Mario Solis Marich ... sheesh.

What more can you say. He is horrible. Indeed, he broadcasts out of Los Angeles. He does not live in 'koh-loh-raah-doh' (as he says it). Marich must work cheap because AM760 would be much better off with a genuinely local, talented talker.

4. Fire Mario NOW!
Enough is enough. Mario has no clue about Colorado and no idea what he's doing.

After the shooting tragedy in Washington DC Mario constantly referred to is happening at "the Museum of Tolerance." WTF? The horrible event happened at the United States Memorial Holocaust Museum, NOT the Museum of Tolerance. You see, the Museum of Tolerance is in LA, where Mario lives and where he does his show. He didn't know the FRIGGIN' difference.

He's called our Governor "John" Ritter multiple times and when caught he couldn't come up with Governor BILL Ritter's first name. WTF! Mar-ee-oh SUX!!

This guy tries to fake it daily. He phones it in from LA, acts like he's local but really has no clue about Colorado and its citizens. Is this the best KKZN can do? Is this really want WE want as a Progressive host?

Come on folks. email Kris Olinger (KKZN Program Director) at krisolinger@clearchannel.com or call her at 303-713-8480 now. Tell her to FIRE MARIO NOW!

5. Wow, Your Second Post - So Much Information - THANKS
Thanks for responding with so much information about this FRAUD billed as "Local" from the liars at Clear Channel Denver.

We are extremely lucky to have Sirota - to lose his radio voice would be a damn shame.

You are so right about Solis-Marich - I have never heard a radio host repeat himself so much, lots of "UMMMs, laughter, and forgetting names" He must rack up 10 minutes of air-space by repeating The One and Only Mario-Solis-Marich Show 50 times during each hour.

I just phoned Clear Channel and spoke to Bailey in KKZN programming - she was receptive and said she would my comments to Kris. Then she proceeded to tell me ...well...Mario is 1/2 here - like this week, he's actually in the building, but that's because he's broadcasting live tonight from a Health Care Rally at Confluence Park.

I said, you're lying to your listeners --- she disagreed, because he's here every so often, that doesn't make them complete liars.
