John Salazar voted FOR torture!!!
I'm shocked, but I just looked up the roll call vote, and our own John Salazar voted with 33 other "Democrats" along with Marilyn Musgrave, Tom Tancredo, Bob Beauprez, Joel Hefley, and against everything America ever stood for.

Needless to say, Udall and DeGette voted Nay.

What is he thinking?

1. Weasel.
And that bush-ass-kissing brother of his, too.

3. To pull a campbell, that's what they're thinking.
They didn't have the votes to get elected as rethugs, but like campbell, they'll sucker the Yellow Dogs for a few years, then split. The Indies will go along, and they'll be able to point to a conservative voting record as dems, saying "we haven't changed, the party has."

They pull the Hispanic vote, even though they're not working in the interest of first and second generation Hispanics, by virtue of their last name, though in fact they've got nearly nothing in common with the rank and file Hispanic voter; their family has been here and been successful since this part of the country was owned by Spain. They're effectively aristocrats who want to get elected, and that means faking it until they can switch.

We needed Mike Miles, dammit. Desperately.

4. Sigh. I wish we went back in time
and lobby the Colorado Dems to support Miles instead of Salazar. What happened was that the DLC pushed Salazar.

DLC is dead to me. I'm not helping DLC's anymore. They vote to advance their wallet, not people's wishes.

I am not helping either Salazar brothers. They'll be defeated by primary and pushed for better people like Mike Miles who campaigned FAR longer than Salazar did when Campbell retired. What an ass.
