L.A. watch more and more Bush stickers.
The God Bless America ribbons ( made in China) are everywhere lately.
It is odd the way these stickers are put on and taken off constantly .
The flags flown on cars come and go daily too,is this a pattern you have noticed elsewhwere in California ?

1. "God help America" might be more fitting
Or maybe "God help us all." Might make a good sticker for these times.

5. i don't need them ....
Edited on Wed Jan-19-05 10:36 AM by cvoogt
I have no car, and I live in Amsterdam (as an American), but I think this could work well as a sticker. I think it should look just like those typical US flag in the background, so it's subtle but deadly.

on edit; thanks for offering to make me some, but share them with people who need them :)

Its getting worse and worse too! Just this morning on the way to work I saw an SUV with 6, yes, I said SIX of those ribbons on the back of it! I swear, 9 out of 10 SUVs up here have them.

11. That might have been a friend of mine
if it was a black Expedition. My friend has one for each friend or family member serving overseas. I can deal with that. :)

6. Whenever I go home to LA, I see them
The yellow ribbons don't bother me because I don't see them as an automatic sign of rightwingism (my new word). Now, the Bush stickers, those things things are fucking eyesores. And they've sprung up AFTER the election, the cowards!

8. Don't get confused..
I just recently put on my "Bush Cheated '04" sticker, which looks like a Bush/Cheney '04 sticker, so look out for the difference. Oh man it was great the other day on the highway (I'm in LA) there was this pickup with a bush/cheney bumper sticker on BOTH sides of the bumper and "W'04" stickers on BOTH sides of the rear window. So i passed him (cause i had to actually my lane was speeding up), and was thinking "he's gotta see my bush cheated sticker by now muahahahah", and then his lane sped up and he got in front of me, took a good look at me, looked so pissed and started flicking me off. I flicked him back off, though I was laughing. Man it felt great.

9. There are days when the bush stickers really hurt
Ever start muttering and forget where you are going because you just saw some dim witt in a sluggo mobile covered in hate ?
I say we should atleast ruin thier day every once in a while without killing each other. A nice " Bush eats shit and you suck " bumper sticker is in order. I have a handy dandy stealth sound system hidden under my truck to yell at the real turds unless they look extremely dangerous, everyday they get dumber and I get more of a death wish.

10. Does anyone else feel it is a contradiction in terms for the SUV's
to post flags on their vehicles? Or wave them on their antennae wires? I mean the war is about oil, and suvs ARE major gas guzzlers--it just bugs me--

13. LOL! Someone suggested a ribbon with:
Support our Dupes!

But that would invite controversy.
