Los Angelinos: If you have wanted to make a statement, to be involved, tonight is the night.
Please come down to Temple and 1st Street downtown, at city hall, to be part of the non-violent presence against the eviction of #Occupy Los Angeles. You do not need to risk arrest; police are likely to establish demarcation outside of which the peaceful may be present and heard (bring your vuvuzela. Never thought I'd say that in my life).

Just being there will make a difference. The pressure of public opinion sends the clearest message. All you have to do is be there. I thank you very much for your contribution to our saying NO! to those opposing our Constitutional rights.

Remember, tonight they're coming for us. When will they come for you, if you do not now stand up and say NO!? Peace, brothers and sisters.

2. There are classes throughout the day and likely a General Assembly on the steps around 7:30.
The deadline for eviction is one minute after midnight. We're not certain if the cops will congregate then, or wait until 3AM when people are tired/going home (they've done that in other cities), or will come later in the week.

Locals can watch the livestreams to see if cops begin showing up for the 12:01AM deadline or not. I wish we'd had time to arrange shifts so that a strong presence could be maintained into the early hours (a large group showing up AT 3AM).

Thank you very much for your interest.
