FAIR OAKS, Calif. -- A Sacramento-area office of the Democratic Party was hit by vandals.

Workers at the office on Sunrise Boulevard near Fair Oaks Boulevard in Fair Oaks discovered the vandalism when they arrived Wednesday morning.

The vandals spray painted the building with swastikas, "Bush" and other graffiti.

Democratic Party organizers at the office said they've received more than 30 harassing phone calls in the last month alone -- all of them political in nature -- and that they are considering hiring security at the office through Election Day.
