Congratulations California....Best % Since 1936
Obama's 61% is the biggest win for any presidential candidate, R or D, in the state since FDR's 67% in 1936.

1. Too bad a lot of it went towards spreading hate
as much as hope. Oh well, it gives us a new cause to fight for. I'm pretty ashamed of California's performance in the last election because of Prop. 8. The truth is, the country didn't need our electoral votes to win, we were merely icing on the cake. We had an opportunity to really send hate packing. Instead we settled for simply giving it a back row seat.
