1. Kicked and Recommended
Austrians benefit from a plan that is not unlike this. The key is that the claims process is drastically simplified and every California resident can choose his or her doctor.

The simplification of the claims process makes a huge difference in the cost of health care delivery. I know Austrian health care. I lived in Austria for years.

Schwarzenegger has only to ask his friends and family in Austria how they like their health care to know that it works far better than our haphazard system.

This health care will not be "free," but it will be a lot more affordable than the health care that Californians now get.

2. Contact info
UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE PASSED THE CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE on SEPTEMBER 1st!

Now the historic universal healthcare bill SB 840 goes to the Governor's desk for his signature.

We care about our sick children, family, friends, and neighbors. We cannot leave sick people hurting, alone and defenseless. Because we care, we have a moral obligation to make sure all people have quality healthcare.

We need health protection from the immoral insurance companies who deny us care so they can get rich. SB 840 provides healthcare for everyone through a fair and responsible public system.

The Governor vetoed universal healthcare in 2006 but now he has another chance to make the correct decision.

TELL THE GOVERNOR TO SIGN HISTORIC UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE BILL SB 840 INTO LAW

Ed Begley, Jr cares. Does the Governor care about our sick children, families, friends and neighbors like we do? Or does he care about immoral insurance companies getting rich by denying us healthcare? Help the Governor make the correct decision.

TELL THE GOVERNOR TO SIGN HISTORIC UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE BILL SB 840 INTO LAW

We've made it easy for you to take ACTION NOW:

1. CALL THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE 9:00AM TO 5:00PM AT (916) 445 2841 AND TELL HIM TO SIGN UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE SINGLE-PAYER SB 840 INTO LAW:

2. SEND AN EMAIL AND A FAX TO THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE AT http://salsa.democracyinaction.org/o/1308/campaign.jsp?campaign_KEY=5066

3. ATTEND THE SACRAMENTO COALITION RALLY SEPTEMBER 8.

4. SEND A LETTER (AND THIS AD) TO YOUR LOCAL MEDIA
http://salsa.democracyinaction.org/o/1308/t/2213/letter/?letter_KEY=1025

5. DONATE TO HELP US RUN MORE ADS - IN NEWSPAPERS AND ONLINE.
https://salsa.democracyinaction.org/o/1308/t/2213/shop/custom.jsp?donate_page_KEY=3877

6. TELL A FRIEND TO GET ON BOARD
http://salsa.democracyinaction.org/o/1308/t/2213/tellafriend.jsp?tell_a_friend_KEY=3248

NOW IS THE TIME TO SEND A MESSAGE TO THE GOVERNOR and help us crack the virtual media embargo on SB 840, "single payer" and our historic grass roots movement.

Thanks so much.
