Jeeni Criscenzo announced her candidacy for U.S. Congress (49th) on September 7, 2005, with the Maat family applauding closeby.

She will be aiming for the seat currently occupied by .. the famous Darrell Issa (R) (google that name for some interesting reading).

Please visit her wonderful website:

http://www.dreamofjeeniforcongress.com/ .

And the great webdesigner/webmaster is ... Mr. Maat.

We're going to elect her ... if I have to visit every house personally!

5. I had thought about making a "Don't Steal My Car, Darrel"
bumper sticker earlier in last election, but have since thought better of it, when after mentioning it a few places on the net, my car actually got stolen not too long after that. Not sure if there was any connection, but given the amount of car thefts around here, probably don't want to provoke these rethugs too much, even if that bumper sticker would be highly appropriate!

6. Whew! I know what you mean.
One of our friends has a Toyota Prius (I want to get one also); some Rethuglicans broke her car windows at a peace rally, and keyed her car. It was probably the peace-oriented bumperstickers.

We can't have peace, you know. Gotta keep that war-machine going!

( :sarcasm: )

By the way, I asked the webmaster; Jeeni is authoring great statements for the issues page, as we speak!
