Aden Calls On Womack To Give Back Koch Dollars

As Koch Industries Stands Accused Of Selling Equipment To Iran In Violation Of
U.S. Sanctions, Aden Says Womack Should Sever Koch Ties

BENTONVILLE—In light of revelations that Koch Industries subsidiaries repeatedly did
business with Iran in violation of U.S. sanctions against trade with the country, Democratic
congressional candidate Ken Aden Monday afternoon called on incumbent Congressman Steve
Womack to donate funds he has received from the controversial company to charity.
A story released this morning by Bloomberg Markets Magazine alleges that Koch
Industries violated U.S. sanctions to sell millions of dollars worth of petrochemical equipment to
Iran. The United States has previously identified Iran as a country sponsoring global terrorism
and has banned certain types of trade with the country.
"As a combat veteran who has seen first-hand the effects of terrorists in Afghanistan, I
am dismayed that any American company would try to skirt the law and do business with Iran,"
Aden said. "I'm more disgusted that Congressman Steve Womack has used money from Koch
Industries PAC to line his campaign war chest. He needs to give the money back or donate it to
charity immediately," Aden said.
Womack has accepted $4,500 in campaign contributions from KOCHPAC, the political
action arm of Koch Industries. Koch has used its political influence to support anti-labor
activities, various radical Tea Party organizations, and to support groups that want to abolish
Social Security.
"The old saying goes that you're only as good as the company you keep, and Steve
Womack is keeping some very bad company with his association with Koch Industries and their
dirty money," Aden said.

2. Yeah, but everyone will know he is as dirty as his money.
Of course, Tim Griffith is so dirty...he got $160,000 from the Kocks.
