Arizona cancer rate lowest in U.S.
We get enough crazy news out of AZ... it was nice to see a good news headline for a change. :)

Arizona's cancer rate is the lowest in the nation, and the state's cancer-death rate is lower than that of all but two states, according to a new national study.

The report paints a favorable picture for Arizona's cancer-fighting efforts, and the lower rates may reflect the state's youthful demographics and many residents' active lifestyles.

1. cancer rates
Below average in skin cancer ... that's surprising. It looks like we're only above the average in thyroid cancer, which probably isn't surprising considering how much radiation is still probably hanging around from all the nuclear testing that was done in the west/southwest

2. Not so, we have a bunch of cancer in the legislature that nobody counted.
Cancer grows unless it's irradiated.
