Had It With Hand Wringers!
I know by now everyone has read the missive by Michael Moore about enough already with the whining and the hand wringing. So why are there still these wimpy posts about 'turning red' and 'i see bush signs' and 'polls say my nose is too deep in my belly button'?

If you can't whistle while you work then go ahead and bitch while you work. Want to see some Kerry signs around? Then trot your happy tail down to your nearest campaign office and help put some up. Want to see something turn red, how about kicking some repuglican butt and watching it gleam red all the way back to Crawford Texas. Action, that's what I'm talking about!

Wonkish translation:
Demoralization by implying futility is a tool for trapping the weak willed into a self-fulfilling prophecy of failure. Karl Rove advises liberal use on liberals.

Solution:
Ignore the slings and arrows and create your own success.

2. Well said
Polls or no polls-the main thing is to keep our eyes on the prize.

3. Volunteer and get involved
As I've talked to more and more people, I've realized that our side has NOTHING to worry about.

11/2 will be a beautiful day!

5. We're winning the ground war
I've never seen AZ Dems so organized. There were 19 organizing conventions statewide, 11 more than the party expected to hold. Here in Sedona, population 15,000, we had 200 people show up. Volunteers are combing every precinct for "low efficacy" voters. We have a HQ for the first time. Volunteers registered 500 new voters in town this summer. And my Republican neighbor has a Kerry sign in his window!

Get out there and get to work. With our efforts, and Kerry's continued strong debate performances, this is do-able, folks.
