Can Troubled Teens Fix Our Budget?
Just about everybody has been there at some time in their lives, money is tight, some sacrifices must be made. So you decide to go without some luxuries: you give up eating out, going to movies, paying to keep juvenile offenders locked up. Well, ok, not all of us have had to make that last choice, but it is exactly what Arizona Governor Jan Brewer has proposed in her budget for FY2011, which calls for the complete dismantling of the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections (ADJC).
