anyone in Arizona care about winning? I am just wondering. People will jump on board with a protest march but they don't seem interested in supporting a candidate. It is bad enough that the Party "targets" districts to the extent that they do but for our "grassroots' not to be interested is unbelievable. We really need people to step up to the plate and contribute time and money , however little. We can only end the war and the economic crisis by electing candidates, so please, help out!

Help needed in Arizona Congressional Race! Help Remove Abramoff buddy
John Shadegg!

Herb Paine is a candidate in Congressional District 6 Arizona who is challenging the Republican incumbent John Shadegg. John Shadegg represents the worst of the neocons. He is on record as one of the most right wing members of Congress. He was one of the lead Clinton Impeachment Prosecutors. He was part of the infamous "Contract with America " and swore to be "term limited", a promise he is breaking.

Herb Paine is a successful consultant to the non profit industry, former CEO of United Way California , a veteran and a conscientious objector. He grew up in Boston, the cradle of liberty, and attended Boston University, majoring in Government. He received his Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in 1970, specializing in American Foreign Policy, Soviet Affairs, and International Economics. Following his service in the U.S. Army, he embarked on a career devoted to human services, social justice, and community problem-solving, spending thirteen years with the United Way.

Herb is Arizona's Paul Hackett. He is a charismatic individual who can defeat this right wing icon, but he needs help.We must prove to the Democratic Party that we are financially viable. We need funds buy polling to convince them of the numbers. We know we can win. Please help us take back the Congress in 2006 and help us replace Right Wing Shadegg with an intelligent problem solver who cares about people! Please donate to Herb's Campaign at www.paineforcongress.org

2. My "Help Needed in Arizona Congressional Race " Post.
I know you are probably busy Noodle Boy. I appreciate the reply. It just irks me that many who will donate to causes or march at the drop of a hat won't either contribute a few dollars to a congressional race , volunteer or contribute in some way with the critical necessity of taking back the house! We have an incredible candidate in CD#3 with Herb Paine and a radical right wing incombant in John Shadegg and no one on DU in AZ seems to care ! The party is directing all its contributors to the Gabby Giffords CD8 race and doesn't want to put up a fight even though the Republicans in my district don't support Shadegg anymore. He is on the conference committee for the Patriot Act . He was one of the lead lawyers on the Clinton Impeachment Trial. I had hoped DU Arizonans would care..

get any help from the party. We are desperate in CD3 and everyone is putting all their donations into CD8. I understand you are working on your own campaign but please help spread the word that CD 3 has a viable candidate and we could use some funds wherever anyone is living!Thank you for working on a campaign. We must take back the house and I wish more people realized that we can do it!:)

9. Doesn't Arizona have a new political forum?
I heard it mentioned on AAR one time and did not write it down.

There are signs going up all over Chandler, and I need to get busy.
I have to confess that I never really paid much attention to the local races before.
Those days are over!
