THE FUTURE OF ARIZONA’S ELECTION LAWS AT STAKE
Original Post here: http://blog.pdamerica.org/index.php?p=288

The State Caucus Arizona (AzDPC) is affilated with PDA and has put forth a video on the issue of the state election laws. An AzDPC reporters met with State Representative Ted Downing of District 28 (Tucson) at the State Capitol to discuss the Senate Bill 1342—which would regulate electronic voting in the state.

Downing points out the flaws of the current bill and outlines the amendments he and other representatives are working to get included into the bill that would give real protection to Arizona voters. He tells who is resisting these amendments and also gives specific examples of how concerned Arizona citizens can impact the legislative process on this bill, which goes to the very core of our democracy.
