One 14 year old boy was killed and another injured in an accidental shooting on Hamstead Lane in the Mendenhall Valley Wednesday afternoon.

The police investigation revealed that five teenage boys had removed several guns from a locked cabinet in the home and began playing with them.

The shot went through the torso of the boy who died and then hit the other one who was sitting on a kitchen stool. He's in stable condition and was to be transported out of town.

3. Doesn't sound like Russian Roulette
One fifteen year old boy shot another in the torso and the bullet went through that boy into another sitting behind him. I think this was a case of practicing "quick draw" or something along those lines..This is also a case of Legal guns falling into the hands of children with disasterous consequences. It is one of those cases which I am sure there are many where "enforcing the laws on the books" just doesn't seem to fit..

4. I wonder if they broke into the cabinet, or had access to the key
In any case, it's horrible.

5. I bet the boys' parents are so grateful
that their 2nd Ammendment rights continue to be protected.

A certain amount of death and mayhem is just the price we pay for freedom in this country.
