What are we going to do about Sarah?
Edited on Mon Nov-10-08 01:39 PM by Blue_In_AK
It's obvious from the interview in this morning's Anchorage Daily News http://www.adn.com/sarah-palin/story/584193.html that she will not take responsibility for ANY of her ethical slip-ups. Monegan? Nothing to see here. Being paid per diem while at home in Wasilla? So what. Travel expenses for her kids? Well, of course she's going to keep asking the state to pay for it.

You know she's going to be traveling all over the country now, speakin' at their conferences, building her network. I'm sure she'll be dragging some or all of the kids along and Todd, and the state will be paying for it, and our reputation will be suffering every time she opens her mouth.

I'm sick to death of this woman. Will the legislature stand up to her in January, or will everyone try to act like none of this even happened?

1. I'm sick of hearing her name and seeing her mug!!!!!!
And there's no way in hell I want to see her get Ted Steven's senate seat!

I thought she'd just get her ass back to work in Juneau, but I think she's so addicted to the limelight and fan fare that she doesn't want to see it end.

Who the hell is running this state anyway? I haven't seen Sean Parnell hold a single press conference. ....

4. I think if she doesn't want to be governor
she should step down. We will have serious fiscal issues to face here with the price of oil down $90 a barrel. Sarah made it look easy to be governor when she had all that extra money at her disposal -- now we'll see if she really has anything going on between her two ears. I kind of doubt it.

2. May the Justice Dept which tried Ted Stevens now investigate AK vote fraud
May the Justice Dept which tried Ted Stevens now investigate
the criminal vote fraud by the Republican Party in Alaska in 2008..
which allegedly (says GOP) had the lowest vote count ever,
positioned Obama's name so when ballot was folded his name
would be on the crease and not always entered in optical scanner
totals etc

3. Pawlenty: "Drill, baby, drill, by itself, is not an energy policy."
The best sign yet '08 is over...

...or at least that a crowd of governors, staff and lobbyists is different than an audience of GOP activists.

Said Tim Pawlenty just now in his RGA luncheon speech: "Drill, baby, drill, by itself, is not an energy policy."

Noting that wind, solar, biomass and geothermal must be part of the equation, Pawlenty drew applause from an otherwise sedate crowd.

Blue, you should post this (over and over) in the ADN political blogs.

time for Justice Dept to investigate Repub. vote fraud in Alaska
which we are asked to believe had the lowest ever national election
vote and whose ballots were designed so that when folded Obama's
name was on the crease, which would eliminate votes in optical

9. Petition: Dear Sarah Palin, Please Shut Up Already
To: Governor Sarah Palin

Dear Governor Palin,

We the undersigned implore you to remain in Alaska (where your national security credentials are required to repel a Soviet invasion) and stop giving media interviews and press conferences.

Maybe you missed what was going outside your small circle of adoring fans but you and your team were soundly defeated in the 2008 election. Sensible citizens rejected your fear mongering, divisiveness, guilt by association and rambling incoherence in favor of an articulate leader whose vision has brought millions of people together from all walks of life.

Governor Palin, you had your 15 minutes of fame, and now they’re thankfully over. America has far more important things to do than listen to you right now. If, in the future, the war against terror or another political, economic, social or environmental meltdown demands the best mooseburger recipe, rest assured we will call you at 3:00 am (EST).

Until then, however, the best way to serve this nation you love so well is to just shut up. Enough already.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned

10. IMO The three best options for taking down Sarah are:
1. The construction of the Palin home and finances in general to date.
2. Palin can be a poster child for how anti-Constitution and anti-American some Christian sects are in practice, these are concentrated in Pentecostal and Evangelical sects.
3. Troopergate - the obvious is that the divorce court judge ruled that Palin interference in the child custody case bordered on child abuse.

Plus Palin is a stupid whacko and a stooge for something evil.
